Equipment Requirements
To ensure high-quality call delivery and client data security, independent contractors must maintain a compliant home office setup.
Computer Hardware & OS
- Operating System: Windows 11 (64-bit Edition)
- Processor: Intel Core i5 / i7 or AMD Ryzen 5 / 7 (Quad-Core or better)
- RAM: 8 GB RAM minimum (16 GB recommended for dual monitors)
- Hard Drive: 20 GB available SSD disk space
- Note: Mac, Chromebooks, iPads, and mobile phones are strictly prohibited by client security
Internet & Connection
- Hard-wired Ethernet connection directly to router/modem (Cat5e / Cat6 cable required)
- Minimum Download Speed: 20 Mbps
- Minimum Upload Speed: 10 Mbps
- Latency / Ping: Under 50 ms
- Strictly Prohibited: Wi-Fi, Satellite internet, cellular hotspots, or public networks
Audio & Accessories
- USB Headset with noise-canceling microphone (Logitech, Plantronics, or Jabra recommended)
- Webcam (720p or 1080p) for virtual certification class attendance
- Dual Monitors: 19" or larger recommended for multitasking client software
- Quiet, dedicated workspace with no background ambient noise or interruption
Strictly Non-Compliant Setups
Wireless (Wi-Fi) connections, Apple Mac computers, Chromebooks, mobile devices, and shared public workspaces do not pass security audits and cannot be used for servicing client calls.
